OPEN positions:
PERMIT COORDINATOR
Pascal Aughtry & Associates is looking for a full-time Permit Coordinator to manage and coordinate the permitting process for architectural projects across multiple jurisdictions. Ideal candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable communicating with clients, consultants, contractors, and reviewing agencies. This position is fully on-site and remote work is not offered.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate permit applications and submittals for projects in multiple cities and jurisdictions
• Prepare, organize, and submit required permit documents, applications, and supporting materials
• Track permit reviews, comments, approvals, and outstanding items through completion
• Communicate directly with building departments and reviewing agencies regarding project status and requirements
• Follow up consistently with jurisdictions to keep permitting schedules moving
• Coordinate responses to plan review comments with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors
• Maintain accurate records of permit applications, correspondence, fees, approvals, and issued permits
• Research permitting requirements, processes, and submission procedures for various jurisdictions
• Provide regular permit status updates to project teams and clients
• Assist project teams with other administrative and project coordination needs as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (NAAB) or related field
• 2+ years of relevant post-graduation work experience

• NCIDQ certification preferred
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Creative problem solver with a flexible and open attitude toward a collaborative working style
• Strong initiative, organizational, and communication skills
• Have a good understanding of FF&E, color and material specifications and development.
